Play Osmo

We have been using a gaming system called Play Osmo where the iPad serves as a reflective tool and students are engaged in hands-on play.  Here you see a student using the Tangrams app, where they are given a puzzle and must match the onscreen shapes using the tangram pieces. If a shape is positioned correctly it will change to a solid color on the iPad.

In the picture below you see a student playing this game with CVC words. Students are given an image on the iPad and must spell it using the letter tiles. One great feature of this app is the ability to create your own words/images to differentiate for your students. kaydenceosmo.jpg
